It is with considerable regret that we must advise you that for a short time, we will be unable to supply you with our ‘Purewasabi’.

Two things have happened. The first was unprecedented sales over the past year. That’s a great problem for any business to have especially in a recession but wasabi is a plant that must grow for two years before it can be harvested. It is quite hard to rapidly increase production.

The second was a very severe storm that hit one our largest growers destroying over two thirds of their crop.

We’ve already got a lot more wasabi planted and more growers coming on board but unfortunately there is a substantial shortfall and we will be unable to continue supplying purewasabi. We hope that we will be back in full production in about 6 to 9 months.

As very valuable customers, we want to apologise to you most sincerely. We know you appreciate the quality of purewasabi so did not want to compromise our product by using anything artificial or inferior.
